Backward Compatibility

Building and home automation is a constantly advancing field. New products and technologies are always introduced, and older, outdated products become obsolete. Most of the open standards are compatible with older systems which are enabled by Backward Compatibility. Backward compatibility is often used to describe new devices that operate with older systems. It means that the systems installed are adaptable to all the previously installed systems. The items of backward compatibility allow you to grow rather than replace your system.
